Summer months bring “summer teams” to the mission field but any month is a good time to come, learn and serve. Youth, adults, and even children benefit from these adventures and educational trips. It’s a wonderful experience for the whole family.
Medical, construction, evangelistic and teaching teams can join us and experience first hand life in missions. HIA hosts groups in Guatemala, Peru, and Colombia. Each year we see progress in the villages and bettering health conditions for the people as a result of the visiting teams who give so generously to the villagers.
Come on an adventure with Jesus to a land of volcanoes, azure blue waters, exotic jungle and beautiful people. Build a house, feed the malnourished, wrap your arms around orphans or teach God’s Word to hundreds of children, all the while getting a close up look at another culture. HIA MISSIONS is about using your gifts, compassion and zeal to reach our world with the good news. HIA will gladly assist with all of your mission trip arrangements, and we will custom-make itineraries according to your groups interests.
Medical teams of doctors and dentists from International Family Church in Boston, Massachusetts have come for over a decade to help the people in the Peten jungle. An average clinic has around 300-400 people a day. Teams usually take 7 to 10 days in Guatemala doing a combination of clinics and outreaches in remote villages. Dr Steven Crespo, chief of emergency at Holy Family Hospital and his wife Andrea, have been leading teams for over 10 years and they brought their three children with them. Heather, Alex and Emma have accompanied their mom and dad on many missionary ventures over the years. They love serving and coming to Guatemala.
