To the Great Commission students had a special assignment this year as they helped with our very first Children’s Congress in Petén, Mi Amigo Jesús. Two hundred young faces filled the campus with energy and joy.
Each child received their own name tag and a manual, attended various workshops making them feel like VIPs for the day. The excitement was contagious as they rotated through four unique workshops, each bringing Bible stories to life in fresh ways. Two of our Great Commission students, professional soccer coaches, had the kids running, laughing, and learning on the field. Who knew soccer could teach so much about faith? ⚽

The day wasn’t just about fun and games – though there were plenty! Quiet moments of prayer touched young hearts, children heard the Gospel and many chose to begin their own journey with Christ Jesus. These precious decisions are what it’s all about.
Small acts of kindness, like personalized materials and one-on-one attention, showed each child just how valued they are. Sometimes the simplest gestures make the biggest impact! 💝
